Color Temperature Selection for HOA LED Retrofits
The most common objection to LED retrofits from HOA boards and residents is "the light looks different." This is a valid concern — early LED landscape lighting used color temperatures of 4000K–5000K (cool white), which looks clinical and harsh compared to the warm amber of halogen.
Specify 2700K–3000K LED for all HOA landscape retrofits. This range:
